The context

The marketplace is a key pillar of an ambitious plan to transform the entire business and become the world's leading habitat platform. The marketplace will help expand the product and service offering, improve Customer experience, reinforce the market positioning and create a key revenue stream.
Your Mission
This role is part of the Customer Experience and Supply Chain team, which focuses on delivering a best-in-class delivery experience as the marketplace continues its growth across Europe. We achieve this by identifying opportunities and developing a series of initiatives to advance our supply chain and customer experience strategy.
The Logistic Account Manager (AM) will help us provide logistics support for our Marketplace Sellers by onboarding them onto our Fulfillment Service.
Responsibilities:
COMMERCIAL:
New Seller Recruitment on Fulfillment services:
- Onboard sellers on Fulfillment services: benchmark the market and our actual sellers to identify the High Potential ones, approach them and initiate contact and educate them on the benefits they will have from using our logistic services.
- Help to prepare the commercial proposal for sellers: e.g. estimate the storage average costs, present the basic and extra services list & prices, discuss the technical settings available and be the guarantor of a seamless commercial process until contract signing.
- Help sellers during onboarding to upload their full catalog and to setup the correct settings on all required tools.
- Ensure seamless seller and customer experience by coordinating the impact across all teams involved.
- Train sellers on the tools available in the management interfaces to ensure their autonomy.
ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT:
Seller Management:
Build trusting relationships with your portfolio of sellers and support them in developing their business with our logistics solution:
- Build long term Fulfillment solution, be the voice of the sellers: Negotiate with sellers to increase their product catalog assortment as well as to follow the stock recommendations.
- Follow closely the performance indicators to optimize sales.
- Prepare and deliver Monthly business reviews regarding progress and state of health for your key accounts.
- Coach sellers on how to use the different tools, to make sure they make the most of it and they remain fully autonomous on the solution.
- Act as a point of escalation for seller issues, questions, or concerns.
- Analyze business performance and conduct in-depth analysis to identify growth opportunities of the fulfillment solution.
- Continuously seek for sales, operational and process improvement identifying and managing projects to improve customer and selling partner experience.
- Develop a thorough understanding of the competitive environment including knowledge of competitive product offerings.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT:
- Create, audit and continuously adapt the processes for sellers using our Fulfillment service,
- With the guidance of the Supply Chain team and the Fulfillment Program Manager, help to industrialize the processes to ensure scalability.
Additional information:
The AM will have a direct line to our operations partners (the warehouses) and will help sellers resolve any issues dealing with operations- for this reason the AM must also have operational / logistics knowledge.
The commercial part of the role requires the AM to sell a proper logistic service and to understand the settings of our technical tools (Mirakl, Seller Portal, aggregators, API specificities to discuss with the sellers in coordination with our technical accounts managers team) as well as operational topics.
In order to sell the service, the AM should be able to analyze the performance of the seller to make recommendations based on current data, to improve sales, conversion rate, and customer experience.
This role requires building strong connections with both the Marketplace team (Team Leaders, Account Managers) to ensure the service is fully promoted, and the Supply Team to stay updated on all warehouse activities.
About you:
- Bachelor's degree from a Business School or an Engineering School (or equivalent university education) with at least 3 years experience, ideally in the e-commerce industry,
- An experience in selling a fulfillment services would be ideal,
- One or more successful commercial experiences in managing customer accounts,
- Strong interest in the E-commerce sector and logistics,
- Ease with digital tools, ability to quickly learn,
- Excellent level of French and English,
- Strong interpersonal skills and team spirit,
- Excellent communication and presentation skills,
- Strong analytical skills, including Microsoft Excel,
- Ability to adapt to a constantly evolving environment, good management of complexity.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in the e-commerce sector or in logistics,
- Italian or Spanish language is a plus,
- Knowledge of Mirakl,
- Knowledge of SQL,
- Interpersonal skills: persuasive, attentive, ability to argue, organized, curious, independent.
