d2m Services is seeking a Control & Systems Engineer for a O&G project.

As a member of the Client Engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the organization and SP team throughout the contract's technical execution. Focused on control system aspects, you'll ensure adherence to technical standards, schedules, and costs, from detailed engineering to project handover.

Key Responsibilities:

  1.  Report directly to the SPS Lead, providing comprehensive updates on engineering matters, emphasizing technical compliance, schedule adherence, and cost management.
  2.  Manage SOR changes and deviations to General Specifications pertaining to discipline-related concerns.
  3.  Review contractors' MDR to ensure the FEED Alliance contractor produces adequate documentation.
  4.  Actively participate in workshops, design reviews, and HAZOPs during the FEED phase.
  5.  Oversee the timely review and approval of all discipline-specific engineering/design documentation.
  6.  Collaborate with the SPS Lead in addressing technical aspects and preparing Tender Bulletins/answers to Technical clarifications.
  7.  Evaluate technological risks in contractors' proposals and define necessary technical qualification requirements.
  8.  Prepare a deviation register to CPY requirements/GS, coordinating with HQ teams for preliminary approval.
  9.  Ensure contractors implement mitigation actions identified during technical gap analysis.
 10.  Coordinate with other disciplines and specialists to guarantee technical compliance and deliverable quality.
 11.  Monitor contractor performance closely, promptly flagging any schedule delays.
 12.  Maintain liaison with various teams including HSE, quality, Field Ops, SURF, topside, installation, and drilling teams as required.
 13.  Ensure all necessary discipline-related requirements are included in the EPCI Contract Exhibits.
 14.  Assist in the preparation of Invitations to Tender and Tender Bulletins/Technical Clarifications.
 15.  Review technical deliverables submitted by Tenderers within designated timeframes.
 16.  Provide comprehensive advice to the SPS Lead regarding non-compliance, risks, and inconsistencies in contractors' submissions.
 17.  Effectively address and close all contractors' technical qualifications.
 18.  Support in the preparation of the EPCI project execution plan.
 19.  Actively contribute to resolving project interfaces.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should meet the following requirements:

 •  Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant Engineering/technical discipline.
 •  Fluency in English (verbal & written) is mandatory.
 •  Minimum of 15 years of professional experience within projects.
 •  Profound understanding of engineering, technology, and project management policies and procedures.
 •  Extensive experience in Subsea and Topside control system design, construction, testing, and operation, with a global offshore experience.
 •  Operator experience is advantageous.
 •  Specific knowledge of subsea design codes & standards, control systems, marine operations, and managing multiple third-party interfaces.
