You will join the Global Quality and Food Safety Standards & Risk Management team (QFS SRM Team) who is under the responsibility of the Quality & Food Safety (QFS) SVP.

 •  We are a team of experts in quality and food safety driving the design and delivery of Danone’s QMS and global policies and standards, providing a rigorous governance framework.
 •  We are covering the end-to-end value chain with risk identification, assessment, communication, mitigation and escalation.
 •  To be at the forefront of QFS, scientific and regulatory thought leadership, we create and leverage robust networks and collaboration with external partners, institutions and associations.
 •  We drive the development and delivery of QFS training and practical onsite support through SME leadership, enabling business and animating the wider technical communities

The position sets, deploys and animates the global finished products verification/control plan and finished product criteria in order to ensure that Danone Finished products comply with our promise to the customers and consumers worldwide.

The position reports to the QFS Criteria and Emerging Risks Senior Manager and works together with the Global QFS teams, Food Safety Experts, Analytical Excellence experts, local QFS managers (from regions, CBU and factories) and external partners.

Here are the main responsibilities:

  1.  QFS Verification/Control plan for finished products (indicative ~60%)
 •  Be the Owner of the QFS Verification/control plans for finished products.
 •  Coordinate the updates of QFS Verification/Control plan procedures and tools with relevant stakeholders and ensure consistency of content &format
 •  Drive the implementation of the QFS Surveillance plan for finished products.
 •  Coordinate & define training and learning materials and animate the communication and network.
 •  Act as Single Point of contact (SPOC) for QFS Verification/control Plan.
 •  Coordinate Risk Assessments with experts in case of product non conformity.
 •  Answer technical questions connected to QFS Verification/control Plan.
 •  Collect stakeholders needs for continuous improvement.
  1.  QFS Criteria for finished products (indicative ~30%)
 •  Define and maintain the content of the QFS Criteria for finished products for the parameters in your scope (e.g. quality & microbiology).
 •  Coordinate the identification of parameters, limits, methods with relevant experts and the review and consolidation with relevant stakeholders.
 •  Contribute to the implementation of the QFS Criteria for finished products across the organization.
 •  Coordinate & define training and learning materials and animate the communication on QFS Criteria.
 •  Act as the Point of contact (POC) for QFS Criteria for finished products for the parameters in your scope.
 •  Coordinate Risk Assessments with experts in case of product non conformity and collect stakeholders needs for continuous improvement to answer technical questions connected to the parameters in your scope.
  1.  Data analytics (indicative ~10%)
 •  Leverage data from product nonconformity database, and, PNC/QMS management review to consolidate requirements & trainings.

Education and Experience:

 •  MS degree in Quality Food Science or Food Microbiology or related field.
 •  Minimum of 5 years in Quality and Food Safety roles in the dairy or plant-based or water industry is desired.
 •  Ideally with a 3 years of experience in quality release controls in factory and RCA/CAPA.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 •  Doer and willingness to learn

 •  Demonstrated ability to lead projects with international scope.
 •  Technical expertise in finding root cause of quality issues and implementing best solution possible.
 •  Ability to communicate information to non-technical stakeholders.
 •  Able to anticipate and prepare 3 year strategic vision.
 •  Familiar with HACCP and FSSC 22000.
 •  Ability to work with autonomy to achieve results effectively.
 •  Familiar with Microsoft Office applications (word, excel, PowerPoint) and dashboard settings.
 •  Fluent in English, French is a plus.
 •  Interest in digital solutions.
