THE ROLE :
Working in our Newbuilding entity, you are responsible of managing the construction projects of several vessels.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• You shall:
Comply with IMS and all relevant international rules and regulations
Ensure all your duties in accordance with quality, health, safety, environmental and ethics policies
Propose a continuous performance improvement plan which will be reported and reviewed on a periodical basis
Issue comment on drawings for approval in accordance with shipbuilding contract
Seek for assistance or experts' opinions for specific drawings
Follow up:
drawing approval and work progress for your project
extra and credit, specification deviations.
Provide Pre-delivery purchaser with necessary information to draw the list of initial stores and spare parts
Manage vessel's delivery
Ensure specifications approval
Train New Building Superintendents.
PROFILE & COMPETENCIES :
You are an engineer graduate with a specialisation in naval architecture
You have at least 5 years experience in Naval Architecture and/or Newbuilding projects, with technical knowledge of vessel design
Fluency in English and professional proficiency in French
Good project management and analytical skills, flexible, results-oriented
Effective verbal, written and presentation skills
Ability to work both independently and in a team-based environment
Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.
