This position of Factory Manager is based in Fontanil, near Grenoble, a city in the mountains which themselves harbor restless torrents and deep forests.
The ideal living environment for nature and sports enthusiasts (skiing, climbing, hiking, etc.)
The factory of Fontanil (220 people 50+M€ multiple products and service center on site) is a pilot site to go to cleantech and Industry 4.0.
About the job
As Factory Manager of Alfa Laval Vicarb you will drive and support the factory so it has the right resources (machinery, people etc.
and competence to achieve long term sustainable business results. End-to-end supply chain responsible as well as responsible for the overall performance and development of the factory.
To do this, you will
• Secure overall performance, output and development of the factory.
• Secure safety of the people, processes and manufactured / delivered products (quality, delivery, cost).
• Implement policies, standards, values and culture.
• Secure result of continuous improvement activities.
• Implement and maintain supply chain processes.
• Initiate supplier development activities together with central support functions.
• Coordinate new product development.
• Lead and develop the Site.
• Co-ordinate site shared functions, such as HR, Finance, Real estate etc.
• Responsible for common site activities.
• Being the local Alfa Laval representative and contact person.
• Union contacts.

You are an experienced leader with strong drive, goal oriented and passionate about Operations. As a leader, you are a strong communicator, you are clear and visible in the organization, and you engage and empower your employees through inspiring feedback.
You are an entrepreneurial person who enjoys developing and realizing actions plan to improve the performance of the factory.

You have an engineering background and have acquired a global vision of operations in a matrix and international environment,
