Manager Finance and Accounting

We are looking for a motivated Manager Finance and Accounting (m/f/d) to be responsible for all Finance topics, especially the book-keeping for Vade, part of the Hornetsecurity Group. This full-time role is to be filled in Lille starting as soon as possible.

Can we count on you?

• In collaboration with colleagues at our headquarters in Germany and a Junior Accountant at Vade, you will oversee all financial operations for Vade. This comprises it´s closing activities, the accounts payable and receivable processes for our French entity, ensuring that all transactions are accurate and timely.
• You validate and post transactions across general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank, and fixed asset accounting. You will hold 1st-level signature authority for approvals and validations.
• You work closely with our headquarter, assisting with coordination, closing procedures, tax regulations, statutory requirements, and bank access management.
• You coordinate with national and international CPAs and advisors for the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements.
• You identify and lead improvements in finance processes and systems, focusing on NetSuite to enhance reporting and operational efficiency.
• You act as a key point of contact for management, clients, and other partners, fostering collaborative relationships across international teams.

• You possess vocational training or a qualification in accounting or taxation, along with a solid foundation in administrative and treasury functions. You will bring experience with NetSuite or a similar accounting system (e.g. DATEV, Quickbooks).
• You have a strong understanding of balance sheets and profit & loss statements, with the capability to align financial functions with broader organizational goals.
• You are communicative and thrive in an international environment, where fluency in both French and English is essential.
• You have a quick grasp of complex concepts, work in a structured manner, and are eager to understand the big picture.
