The R&D (Research & Development) Product Owner will lead the development and implementation of our solutions, covering areas such as specifications (for dry and wet goods), finished and semi-finished goods, artwork designs, versioning and defect management as well as S&R, quality and compliance reporting.The ideal candidate will have experience in managing a product backlog, collaborating with cross-functional teams (portfolio management, marketing, R&I, procurement, manufacturing, S&R, compliance) and ensuring alignment with business goals.
Regular touchpoints with affiliate tech functional leads are required. A relevant experience in a global CPG company is a plus, preferably with a group PLM (Product Lifecycle Management system) exposure.
The responsibilities involve leading and managing an Agile Squad, overseeing the development of the product roadmap, and managing backlog prioritization to ensure the delivery of Business Value.
Your key missions:
- Demand Management : You will gather new demands to be integrated into the backlog and translate them into Features.
- Backlog Management : You will prioritize Product backlog and manage risks and interdependencies with other squads. You will steer and drive squad delivery, facilitate day-to-day interactions within the squad.
- Product Lifecycle management : You will contribute to product vision definition. You will lead the Product Build by defining and analyzing the Features/user stories and managing the agile squad delivery. You will collect and consolidate Product value based on Proximity Team and GBPO's inputs
- Product Catalog Management : You will ensure latest version and consistency between the product & service catalog and the overall product portfolio and communicate on changes & updates
- Incident Management : You will lead L2/L3 incidents investigation, diagnosis and resolution
- Resource Management : You will estimate Resource forecasts, adjust roadmap and prioritization based on resource availability and report on actual resource utilization
- ITFM : You will provide Product roadmap and backlog, squad's resource needs forecast. Oversee overall funding of my scope, perform variance analysis and provide justification. Track Product's ROI and costs
- Strategic thinking & value-driven mindset (roadmap creation, value monitoring…)
- Expertise in relevant product, with deep understanding of business challenges in the domain
- Ability to manage in complex and VUCA environments
- Communication skills, with the ability to talk with both business & technical stakeholders
- Strong experience in Product management, Product Owner certification
- Strong understanding of agile mindset & practices
- Negotiation/mediation skills
