🧑💻 Role overview :
Product marketing is the strategic function of positioning, messaging, and promoting a product to the right audience, ensuring alignment between customer needs and the product's value proposition. In the SaaS and MarTech industries, it plays a critical role by driving adoption, differentiating products in competitive markets, and enabling sales teams with tailored messaging.Effective product marketing ensures that complex, technology-driven solutions are easily understood and compellingly positioned to meet the dynamic demands of these industries.
As a Product marketing manager, you’ll play a key role in bridging the gap between product development, sales, and marketing. You’ll support the positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy for our core products. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent MBA graduate or someone with 1-2 years of experience in marketing, product management, or related fields.
🎯 Responsibilities:
- Product positioning and messaging:
- Develop and refine product messaging that resonates with target customers and differentiates us from competitors.
- Collaborate with the senior PMM team to ensure consistent branding across all touchpoints.
- Go-to-market strategy:
- Assist in creating launch plans for new products or features, including market research, competitive analysis, and campaign strategy.
- Work with cross-functional teams (Sales, Product, and Marketing) to execute go-to-market initiatives effectively.
- Sales enablement:
- Develop sales collateral, pitch decks, and training materials to support the sales team.
- Gather feedback from the field to improve messaging and product alignment.
- Market research and analysis:
- Conduct customer and market research to identify trends, pain points, and opportunities.
- Analyze competitors’ offerings and pricing strategies to inform product positioning.
- Campaign support:
- Partner with the Marketing team to support demand generation campaigns, including webinars, content creation, and email marketing.
- Track and measure campaign performance to ensure alignment with product goals.
- Customer insights:
- Engage with customers to understand their needs, preferences, and feedback.
- Use insights to refine the product roadmap and improve the overall user experience.
Requirements
🕵️♀️ What we’re looking for:
- Qualifications:
- MBA or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (preferred but not mandatory).
- 0-2 years of experience in Product Marketing, Product Management, or related roles.
- Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Skills:
- A passion for understanding customers and solving their problems.
- Ability to synthesize complex information into clear, concise messaging.
- Proficiency in tools like PowerPoint, Excel, and marketing platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar).
- Team player with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in English and French; Spanish or Italian would be a great plus
