Join Electrolux Professional Group as: R&D Project Engineer
ABOUT YOUR TASKS:
- Create design deliverables in the form of drawings, bill of materials, and assembly instructions.
- Manage new product development projects.
- Actively interact with various departments within the company to successfully carry out projects (Marketing, Purchasing, Logistics, Engineering, After-Sales Service, Laboratories).
- Collaborate with our suppliers to ensure technical feasibility and cost optimization of manufacturing, based on the chosen technology (plastic injection, foundry, machining, etc.).
- Perform cost calculations for products.
- Propose technical solutions to meet the requirements of various standards and regulations (safety, hygiene, environment).
- Participate in defining test protocols (reliability, performance).
- Validate component replacements in case of obsolescence or supply disruption.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in industrial product design, mechanical design, or a related field, ideally with 3 years of professional experience.
- Technical knowledge in electromechanics is a plus
- Proficient in 3D and 2D CAD (CATIA V5).
- Proven project management skills.
- Knowledge of product regulations (Machinery Directive, IEC Standards, Food Contact...) is a plus.
- Languages: Proficient in French (negotiation level) and intermediate in English. Italian is a plus
Occasional travel within France and abroad is expected, depending on the projects (approximately 3 times a year).
