We are currently searching for an experienced and dynamic RAMS Engineer to join our international team in Toulouse, France.

Working for the EU Agency for the Space Programme for Project management and control, Product and Quality Assurance and Control for the EGNOS programme, the team is responsible for:

  • The contribution to the implementation and maintenance of an effective product assurance programme by maintaining and ensuring application of the EUSPA internal processes applicable to the PA/QA, service engineering and service provision discipline.
  • Ensure the output and deliverables produced by the PA disciplines are consistent, complete, and delivered in line with the project schedule.
Main Responsibilities
  • Monitor and control system certification related activities in support of the European space programme Service Providers.
  • Ensure the continued compliance of the EUSPA Safety-of-Life (So L) services provision to the established certification regulatory requirements.
  • Elaborate and maintain certification requirements applicable to the service and system evolutions, and verifying their implementation within the system design, development and operations/service provision phases.
  • Maintain the current aviation certification framework for the delivery of the So L services and developing new frameworks (i.e. Rail, Maritime, Drones etc.) where necessary for other users.
  • Liaise with the stakeholders contributing to provision of the So L Services (in particular the EGNOS service provider, EASA, ESA, EC).
  • Support the safety manager for any topics related to the continued safety of the services wherever applicable (e.g. chairing of the Quarterly Safety Meetings, Support of System Reviews, Safety Assessment during Non-Conformance Boards).
  • Maintain the documentation library constituting the Design Safety Cases.
  • Support the development and maintenance of the EGNOS demonstration of compliance to the Single European Sky regulated activities for approved Design and Production Organisations.

  • Configuration Control.
  • ECSS PA/QA awareness.
  • Procurement.
  • Galileo/EGNOS Asset Management.
  • Galileo/EO/Satellite Schedule/Project Management background.
  • Occasional travel within EU.
  • EU state nationals with required Personal Security Clearance up to RESTRICTED (with PRS).
