This role is part of the Simcenter Industries group, within the Simulation and Test (STS) segment of Siemens Software. The group is responsible for owning the strategy dedicated to our focus industries.

You are joining our Industry Specialists - Systems Simulation team in order to support the Simcenter System Simulation strategy in Automotive, heavy Equipment and Transportation industries: your role will consist in contributing to the business plan definition, providing strategic inputs to the product roadmap, defining the G2M strategy and rolling it out, enabling our WW sales organization, engaging with strategic customers to help them adopt and deploy our Enterprise Systems Simulation solutions.Your expertise will be key to implement this strategy, communicating and aligning it with key internal and external partners…
Indeed, external, and internal communication, as well as collaboration, are critical in this position as you are working closely with Sales, Portfolio Development, Product Management, Applications Specialists and with frequent interactions with customers of course.
You are contributing to the success of the Enterprise Systems Simulation solutions by:
- Explaining the value to our sales organization supported by success cases and connected to our Digital Thread campaigns, showing the value of Systems Simulation Solution as part of Engineering Workflows,
- Capturing market and Sales regions feedback in order to propose product evolutions to support business growth (input to product roadmaps, pricing and bundles, M&A activity, partnering).
- Supporting the execution of enablement sessions with our Go-to-market team and our Partners.
- Supporting our Systems Customer Advisory Council events with privileged customers to discuss their short-, medium- and long-term strategy and challenges to make sure our solutions are really sticking to current and future market needs.
- Convincing our customers about the value they will get adopting our technologies, and later on, gathering success testimonials when they have adopted.

Your qualifications
We would love to hear from you as an experienced engineer in System Simulation (Simcenter Amesim or equivalent) and applications within Automotive, Heavy Equipment and Transportation Industries.- Experience in consulting and/or product management and/or business development and/or sales is wanted. You can develop and drive long term business or project plans.
- You have a strong ability to find innovative ways and to show initiative in overcoming challenges.
- Thanks to your excellent communication skills in English, you build positive relationships with your colleagues worldwide, and you can collaborate with multi-functional teams as well as disseminate your message to people at different levels of management and technical backgrounds.
Willingness to travel globally 10-20% will be needed to create and maintain special relationships with the person you will collaborate with.
