Global Sales Operations Manager - Interim / Fixed Term Contract
This role is responsible for leading best-in-class sales operations, enabling the sales teams to be successful and the sales performance to be operated with utmost efficiency. The role will provide the framework and guidelines in which to operate.
Leading global sales operations requires a strong involvement with C-level team as well as with key departments leads (finance, product, IT …) having a role to play in the performance and efficiency of sales.
Contribute to the sales performance through the following activities :
- Streamlining and optimizing the sales process
- Sales funnel governance, lead weekly regional pipeline review with local sales teams
- Sales forecasting and predictive analytics: Closely work with regional sales leaders and sales teams to focus on forecast accuracy tracking and continuously improve the process in place.
- Orchestrate and reach management alignment on key sales governance and process evolutions
- NPS coordination global orchestration
Lead on the sales tools & systems performance :
- Responsible for the quality, integrity and accuracy of the CRM data (with the support of local sales operations managers)
- Continuous improvement of CRM workflows in place (ex: incoming lead assignments, discount approval process, closed/lost deals tasks creation,
- Owner of the pricing table orchestrating the various stakeholders (Product Mgrs, Finance, Sales leadership)
Global Sales Operations team management :
- Direct management of the CRM Analyst
- Direct management of the regional sales operations managers (1 for ASIA, 1 for EMEA & AMERICAS) overseeing local sales operations activities
Sales Incentive plan :
- Supported by finance, quarterly bonus amount calculation based on individual achievement vs individual targets.
- Orchestrate management review, alignment and final sign-off of the bonus amount by individual
- Closely work with HR and finance on individual achievement and bonus calculation as well as payment roll-out
Analytics & reporting :
- Provide quarterly and yearly forecast summary on a weekly basis (actual vs budget, weekly variation, key upgraded / downgraded deals etc.)
- Support CEO, CRO and CFO on monthly board meeting preparation
- Support C-level or Sales directors on ad hoc analysis and reporting need
KEY MEASURES & INDICATORS (main KPIs used in the role) :
- CRM Sales data quality and accuracy
- Sales forecast accuracy (95%)
- On time alert in case of material forecast change (to C-level and regional Sales leaders)
- Reporting & analytics on time delivery, quality and accuracy
Requirements
Professional Background :
- 8 years + of experience in Sales operations or finance (FP&A)
- Leadership experience in Sales Operations or Finance
- Experience working in a SaaS Sales environment is a strong advantage
- Experience in organizing, driving multi-function projects, process and governance
