Description You have a theoretical experience of the 2-stroke marine engine ( sailor profile not mandatory ) + Master Engineer diploma. Missions et responsabilités You shall:Source and explore any solutions allowing propulsion engines efficiency improvement, specific fuel consumption reduction,GHG emissions reductions.Study engine optimization solutions.Maintain close link with engine designers R&D department.Maintain close link with Engine designers Retrofit and Upgrade department.Analyze performance of engines in service.Propose solutions to Ships Retrofit &Upgrade dpmnt / Technical Department.Provide support to Newbuilding department for engine and associated component selection, engine and associated componentfor Newbuilding project.Provide support to Newbuilding for design and installation of engine & engine ancillaries system.Provide support to Newbuilding for engine commissioning and test.Follow up of Newbuilding project performances.Follow up of retrofit solutions performances.
Compétences et profil requis Formation / Profil Qualifications -Master degree mechanical engineering / Combustion Engine specialist2 Stroke Engine performance analysis / 2 stroke engines tuningCompulsory knowledge:2 Stroke Engine Automation2 Stroke Engine Control SystemPropulsion System performancesGood to have knowledge:Engine simulation softwareTwo stroke engine assembly, commissioning and test proceduresFluent in EnglishOffice softwareEngineering softwareEngine designer ?in house? software and applications (Cocos EDS, WiDE, DCM, GTD, CEAS, PMI etc) ExperiencePrevious experience in:2 Stroke marine engine development within one of the two engine designer organization.Alternative will be within 2 stroke Marine Engine Turbocharger maker organization Performance department.2 Stroke Engine installation commissioning and test either within engine maker organization or from owner side.2 stroke engine performance analysisStrong international experience, multicultural.Perfect knowledge of shipping industry.
